The Roadhouse Cafe is pleased to announce a special wine dinner event to be held on Wednesday, June 4th @ 6:30 p.m. at 488 South Street in Hyannis.

Join Proprietor Dave Colombo and Chef Ken Van Buren, as they welcome lifetime Cape resident Bruce Cole, Regional Director of Dreyfus, Ashby & Company, one of America's most prestigious fine wine importers. Together they join forces with sponsor Cotuit Liquors for "The Best of Both Worlds," a Cape Cod Life Food & Wine Festival Dinner Event. The night will feature fine wines from Maison Joseph Drouhin of Burgundy and Domaine Drouhin Oregon, one of the Pacific Northwest's most famous wineries. Food and wine lovers will delight as they share a delicious meal along with the wines of the Drouhin family, one of France and Oregon’s most highly regarded producers.

Guests will be greeted with a glass of refreshing and crisp 2006 Joseph Drouhin St. Veran and the warm and inviting 2006 Cloudline Pinot Noir as they enjoy Mini Crab Cakes topped with a Sriracha cream sauce and Beef Carpacchio Canapés with horseradish sauce. Chef Ken has prepared an enticing menu featuring Pan Seared Sea Scallops with Orange Ginger Glaze and papaya pineapple salsa paired with the 2006 Joseph Drouhin Domaine de Vaudon Chablis.

The Chicken Walnut Ravioli in sage butter sauce with shaved grana cheese will be served with a flight featuring the precious 2006 Domaine Drouhin Oregon Chardonnay "Arthur" and the outstanding 2005 Joseph Drouhin Puligny Montrachet. A "Trilogy of Tenderloins" of Pork, Beef and Veal each served with its own unique sauce and roasted red pepper risotto will be a fine accompaniment to another France/Oregon flight featuring the velvety 2006 Domaine Drouhin Oregon Pinot Noir and the succulent 2005 Joseph Drouhin Chambolle Musigny.

The rare 2004 Domaine Drouhin Oregon Pinot Noir "Laurene" will match a traditional Array of Artisan Cheeses with fresh strawberries and the finale will be sure to please the chocolate lovers in the room as the Rocky Roadhouse Cake, with Four Seas Vanilla Ice Cream and Hot Fudge caps a night not to be missed!

Eight fine wines and six courses, add up to a wonderful Wednesday evening on Cape Cod. $95.00 per person plus tax and gratuity. Reservations may be made by phoning The Roadhouse Cafe at (508) 775-2386. Seating is limited...we hope to see you there!
